Performance of Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Malta Q4 2023

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top navigation and maps apps on Android in Malta exhibited diverse performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw weekly downloads fluctuating throughout the quarter. Starting at 627 downloads in late September, it experienced a dip to 309 in early October but recovered slightly to end the year with 280 weekly downloads.

Google Earth maintained relatively stable weekly downloads, ranging from a high of 125 in late November to a low of 76 in the final week of December. The app showed minor fluctuations but remained consistent overall.

Google Maps Go also displayed variability in weekly downloads. It began the quarter with 132 downloads, dipped to 70 in mid-December, and then spiked to 135 the following week, ending the quarter with 102 downloads.

Mappls MapmyIndia Maps, Safety experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads from 143 at the start of the quarter to 41 by the end. The app had notable peaks and troughs, with downloads reaching as high as 169 in mid-October and as low as 40 in late November.

Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer had a more modest download range, starting with 45 downloads and peaking at 129 in late October. The app ended the year with 93 weekly downloads, showing a general upward trend.
